It is positively breathtaking to see the land in full bloom. Summers in Hana make every long, wet, rainy day worth it. Hana seems to be in technicolor- I never knew blues could be so blue, reds so red, and the thousand shades of green. Every flower seems to be bursting with color and fragrance. Night blooming jasmine and Ylang Ylang blossoms fill the evening air. Sunflowers are opening, the Kales and lettuces are bursting, eggplants beginning to drop, and tomatoes are falling off the vine...The acerola cherry tree is loaded this year...and it has been a race to get to the Figs before the birds do. Lilikoi and Lychee are beginning to change color. What a blessing to be surrounded by so much abundance.
Sunrises at Redsands has been a favorite morning activity...a must do while here in Hana.
