Rain Rain....

A wet week this was. Lots of powerful thunder and lightning storms...rivers are all running- and rainboots have proven to be a neccessity. We are letting the gardens rest until the rainy season has passed, covercropping with a variety of clovers and beans. It is also a great time to plant new fruit trees. We will be adding to our collection of (shown here) lilikoi breadfruit, starfruit, and mangosteen....yummmm. So, we are planning out the next plantings now, and digging away between rains! This week begins a new session of WWOOFers....January-March. Hopefully they all love the rain!:)
Update-rain rain has gone away. WE have had 3 weeks of glorious sunny days. What a beautiful winter!
