August is here!

August has been full of amazing meals, and farmdaze, cardgames, and laughter bouncing down the hill, being reminded how important clear communication is in community, amazing waves on the backs of missed hurricanes, evening rains and more lilikoi than one could ever eat, lychee had it's first fruiting, and the fire-pit had it's first fire, sushi-nights, and learning how to weave palm fronds into shooting stars, tomatoes falling off the vine, and painting in the shade of the monkeypod, figs and acerola cherries, ice-cream beans, and witnessing what one kelli can do with 2 spoons, home-made kombucha, and sharing of hearts and minds and dreams. It has been an amazing summer!

  1. I love the way you write! do you write most of the blogs or does everyone contribute photos and write-ups. Your writing is so positive and fun to read. It has been fun to watch your place grow. Mahalos for the community support- you buy lemons and oranges form my dad.

  2. Do you have any openings at your farm soon? I am working at Hana Tropicals, but it isn't much fun, and they make us work too many hours. I have visited your farm quite a bit, and I love the vibe and the people. If I could set up an interview with you, that would be wonderful. I was hoping to come asap.
