and dancing....winter is for poker nights, and fresh baked bread, and vegan-gluten-free cookies, winter is for making soups, and sharing stories, and films snuggled in the clubhouse....winter birthed that clubhouse, and we decorated it with billowing fabrics and lanterns, unicorn heads, and pieces of those we love....winter was for birthdays and making a fine turkey with mushroom gravy, winter made the need for songs around a bon-fire that much greater, and field trips to the cinema that much more magical, winter is for gratitude circles and rituals, for gathering compost and making resolutions, and winter is for laughter, and community....and family.
